Why in Database: This book is part of the universe of Metro 2033 and have one turtle fragment in it. The narrator recalls the animated series about the Tortoise and the Lion, popular in Russia. The book is not published in English, so we present the quote only in Polish:

Świeciło ciepłe słońce, pachniało świeżymi, zupełnie maleńkimi zielonymi listeczkami budzących się wiosną drzew. Ludzie dokoła uśmiechali się z zadowoleniem, błyskając okularami przeciwsłonecznymi – albo dopiero co kupionymi, albo takimi, które doczekały się swego czasu od zeszłego lata. Mama małej Ukołowej lubiła duże okulary, jak z głupiego filmu rysunkowego o lewku i żółwiu. Mała Ukołowa nie lubiła tej kreskówki, wciąż prosiła, żeby jej puścić Maszę i niedźwiedzia, i kłóciła się z mamą. Mamie było przykro, ale ustępowała córce. Żółw nie podobał się Żeni. A jego okulary – owszem, bo takie miała mama. A mama małej Ukołowej była bardzo ładna.
