Power Rangers is quite an unusual type of series – subsequent seasons, especially those of later series, are “completely new” when it comes to important elements – who is the PR leader, who are the PR themselves, where/how they get their powers, who is the opponent, etc. Therefore, instead of describing all the turtles appearances in PR in one huge note, we divided them into series.
At the moment, 27 seasons have come out, the next (Power Rangers Dino Fury) should debut this year, 2021. Seasons have a varying number of episodes, sometimes two different titles and seasons de facto form one series, such as Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai. Below is a list and links to relevant notes (the lack of a given season means that we found nothing that suggest presence of turtle elements):
1-3 – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – there is a turtlemonster, Shellshock, in two episodes, in one episode there is a short scene with a real turtle, in six episodes there is Tor the Shuttlezord, a turtle-shaped zord and in one episode, a cartoon turtle appears in the “world of the book”.
6 – Power Rangers in Space – Ninja turtles appear in two episodes, in their incarnation from the show Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation.
7 – Power Rangers Lost Galaxy – In one episode, real turtles appear in one scene.
9 – Power Rangers Time Force – In one episode, there is a mutant scientist named TurtleCon, he have a turtle-like appearance.
10 – Power Rangers Wild Force – The whole season takes place in the town of Turtle Cove, while the warriors are based in Animarium, a turtle-shaped flying rock. Turtle elements appears through the whole season.
11 – Power Rangers Ninja Storm – In one episode, one of the female warriors finds a turtle figurine that hides plans that allow the PR to use a new weapon, Turtle Mace.
12 – Power Rangers Dino Thunder – Turtle elements are only implicitly, as there is a short scene-footage from the time of season 10 where you can see (but it is not named) Turtle Cove.
16 – Power Rangers Jungle Fury – In as many as ~10 episodes there is an opponent named Snapper, who is the embodiment of the spirit of the snapping turtle.
Power Rangers Samurai: Clash of the Red Rangers – The Movie – Part of Season 18 and Season 19, it features the Turtle Folding Zord.
18-19 – Power Rangers Samurai i Power Rangers Super Samurai – In most episodes, the turtle zord appears, independently or as part of the megazord. In addition, in one episode you can see something that can be count as inflatable swimming ring with turtle pattern, in another episode, the pink warrior has elements of a turtle disguise on her outfit.
21 – Power Rangers Super Megaforce – The turtle monster named Turtlelini appears in one episode.
24-25 – Power Rangers Ninja Steel i Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel – In one episode, a spell turns a group of evil guys into turtles. Tortoise Zord appears in eight episodes. The last turtle element is Shelldax, another turtle opponent that appears in one episode.
