Why in Database: So far, a one-season series, with eight episodes. The only turtle elements appears in episode four (Armed & Dane-gerous), where there are two dialogue references, one about normal sea turtles being used to smuggle chips, and the other one mentions Ninja Turtles.
As solid as a black-market middleman can be. He doesn’t sell weapons and always holds up his end of the deal. In the ’90s, he smuggled 100,000 Beanie Babies into Russia in the hay bales of the Moscow circus. I heard he strapped waterproof bags of microchips to migrating sea turtles to get them from Cancun to Halifax.
You know it’s not that bad when you think of it as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
