Why in Database: The twelve-episode anime series, adapting the manga of the same Title. The turtle (in form of a herald, one of the messengers of God which are essential part of the series) only appears in the third episode (The Place Where the Gods are), but he has many, many scenes (his companion is also shown, one of the characters also tells a story about turtles that unsuccessfully tried to cross the road. Moreover, in episode twelve (Summer Cleansing) this herald turtle is mentioned.
One turtle scene from the third episode is also shown in opening sequence, so it of course appears before all episodes.
