Mzee

Why in Database: Mzee is one of the S-Men, a group/team of Red Skull’s helpers that appeared in 11 issues of various series published by Marvel (Uncanny Avengers, Captain America, Magneto). They was present on their pages for two years, from December 2012 to December 2014 – out of these 11 appearances, we saw Mzee in ten issues. He cooperates with Red Skull because he hates mutants, especially Magneto who is responsible for the destruction of his home village and the death of his loved ones. He gained his powers thanks from a crystal containing the psyche of the long-forgotten African god of war, Mzee.

Uncanny Avengers 01: The issue in which the S-Men debut, Mzee can be seen clearly in two frames, first he stands with a group, then in action, he deals a blow. Besides, one frame shows only the outline of his figure, and the other shows his hand. In this issue Mzee remains anonymous, we do not know his name.

Uncanny Avengers 02: In this issue, the protagonist of the entry has more frames for himself, you can take a closer look at him because he appears richly during three pages, additionally he can be seen later in the collective picture. We learn his name here and the first part of the background – what is the source of his hatred for mutants.

Uncanny Avengers 03: Mzee has few frames for himself, he fights Thor. We get to know the rest of his background/origin stroy – the source of his strength.

Uncanny Avengers 04: Does not appear in person, is visible only on the hologram/screen.


Captain America Vol 7 #22: Visible only in the background behind the red Skull.

Uncanny Avengers 23: You can see him in 4 frames, always in a group pictures with other S-Men.

Magneto Vol 3 #9: The only case when you can see him also on the cover. There are of course also some frames with him in the issue.

Uncanny Avengers 24: Two pages, a lot of frames with him.

Magneto Vol 3 #10: He have a lot of fragments here, with the captured Magneto.

Uncanny Avengers 25: Some frames, including one where he probably dies.
