Why in Database: Tommy Turtle is a character who appear in many (over 15, counting issues where he was – StH is in the format “each issues have 2-3 different stories) stories in comic books series Sonic the Hedgehog. Tommy’s story is rather sad, our first contact with him ends with the betrayal of people he considers friends and his “death” (of course, it turns out, he survived). Later, he is used by evil forces as a trap (the real Tommy is captured and Sonic get a robot pretending to be him) and he unknowingly helps the nanites to master other robots and loses his consciousness himself for the sake of these nanites. Finally, he dies, temporarily regaining control over his body and heroically sacrificing himself. Of course, he have some positive apperances, but the overall impression after reading the comics with him is rather sad and compassionate.
