Australia
001 – Bondi Beach
During the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in 2010, which took place on the beaches, from Bondi to Tamarama, one of the displayed sculptures was a large, empty turtle shell. The name of this work is Long-Neck and the author is Benjamin Gilbert.

001 – Beijing
Armillary sphere, a full size replica of the Ming Dynasty sphere of Emperor Zhengtong (1439). The original is in the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, while the copy shown in the photos is in front of the Ancient Observatory in Beijing. The turtle element is at the base of the central pillar.

A simplified version of the armillary sphere, a copy of one that was created at the same time as the object described above. Similarly, the original is at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, while the copy shown in the photos is in front of the Ancient Observatory in Beijing.
