We Found the Ninth Wonder of the World! is one of several short stories featured in Tales to Astonish #001, it features two turtles, details below.
Tales to Astonish #001 (We Found the Ninth Wonder of the World!) is a comic book featuring a scientist experimenting with growth hormone – we also see two of his “experiments” as he calls his specimens. Experiment XYZ and Experiment 247, the former is much larger and 5 years older than the latter, he appears on three frames of the comic book (the heros ship crashes into him, you can also see it in the last frame of the comic, then it resembles a leatherback turtle), the latter is smaller and is captured by the inhabitants of one of the islands, we see him in five frames within one page (and the breed is specified, the snapping turtle), he is also on the cover of that issue.
