Why in Database: Torti is one of the turtles that appear in the Porky Pig comic. The ship on which Petunia, Pokry and Bugs are sailing is damaged, Torti helps them temporarily by patching the hole in the hull with himself, thanks to which they reach the beach, where they can easily repair the ship. The heroes quickly find an opportunity to repay Tortie and save him from the natives who caught him – it turns out that the inhabitants of the island massively rob turtles of their shells, because whoever gets the prettiest, is the king of the island (fortunately, it happens in a comic book form, that is, the turtles are not physically harmed, they can live without their shells). The heroes help the turtle community by causing (though accidentally, i.e. they wanted to do it, but in a different way) the natives to lose interest in turtles and give them their shells.
