Tommy

Why in Database: Tommy is a turtle, the protagonist of (mostly) comic-book stories which have his name as the name of the series. And they were published in various collective magazines (in each issue there were several different stories, including one about Tommy) like Buster Bunny or Happy Rabbit.

Overall, Tommy is a good turtle, sometimes a little naive, who gets into trouble a lot, but usually things turn out well for him.

Buster Bunny #02: Tommy tries to help Woodrow Woodchuck, whom the wolf chased up a tree, but due to his slowness and a series of events, he comes to inform anyone about the threat after Woodrow has freed himself. But soon he also unintentionally helps another character and becomes a hero, they also hand him rocket roller skates.

Buster Bunny #03: Tommy helps a fire-breathing little dragon who feels lonely and has no friends.

Buster Bunny #04: Six pages, this time the matter revolves around the picnic, the whole thing is similar to issue 2, by being slow he screw up and is blamed, but it soon turns out that he also saved the whole situation and is considered a hero.

Buster Bunny #07: Four pages, Tommy helps someone hunt for frogs (naively believing that this person is doing it out of concern for them, not to eat them). Of course, it ends well for the frogs, bad for the hunter.

Buster Bunny #09: One page, a gag with a hero repairing the TV.

Buster Bunny #10: One black and white page, Tommy catches moths that attacked his clothes in the closet.

Buster Bunny #14: Six pages, Tommy and a friend grumble over the heat and tries to change the weather, first leading to flooding and then to winter, much to the displeasure of other local residents.

Goofy Comics #042: A two-page comic, everyone in the woods is going skiing. Tommy too, but he’s having trouble getting to the top of the slope. Thanks to someone else’s help, he succeeds, but destroys the skis. So he uses his shell to slide down.

Happy Rabbit #42: Five pages, Tommy wants to clean the streets to win the Cleanest Street Competition. Of course, after some troubles, he achieves his goal.

Happy Rabbit #46: Half-page gag.

Happy Rabbit #48: Five Pages, Tommy makes a fuss at the library and creates damage for $100. Having to work off them, he accidentally discovers that one of the guards was robbing the library.

Lucky Duck #006: One-page, gag about doctor and costs.

Lucky Duck #008: Half-page gag.

Santa’s Christmas Comics #01: One frame in a board game and a two-page comic about the “being nice to animals” club and Tommy who wants to help, but not all things go as he want.

Sniffy the Pup #09: Five Pages, Tommy decides to become mayor, with full endorsement. But he eventually gets over it.

Supermouse #012: Two pages, Tommy and the younger turtle go to the forest, eventually, despite the cuts they make on the trees, they get lost, because the cuts are left by many other animals too.

Supermouse #021: Two pages about Tommy being superstitious. And he ends up in the hospital, poisoned by poison ivy during his (successful) search for the four-leaf clover.

Supermouse #039: A one-page comic book gag, about breaking the glass.

Supermouse the Big Cheese Summer Holiday: One-page, gag with a talent scout and a washboard.

Giggle Comics #03: 7 pages, Tommy decides to take care of the garden, but first he fails in planting quite a bit, and then is unaware of how his crops are disappearing – eaten by others.
