TV Series – Turtle Dex

At the very beginning, an explanation of how to see and read the icons preceding the movie titles on the list. The first three categories sharing descriptions “what does the number of icons mean”, so in order to not increase the text unnecessarily, they are described collectively, first we describe what a given color means, and then what the number of icons means.

– Series with real turtles (Not documentaries!)
– Series with real turtles (documentary!)
– Series with “anthropomorphic” turtles. That means all that can talk, of course, but also those that have silent roles, but act not-like-ordinary-turtles (this applies especially to turtles from various animations).

– There is only a verbal mention in the series or a turtle in the form of a toy, drawing, sculpture (and other artistic forms) or the shell (without owner) is shown. Ninja turtle toys fall into a different category.
– For minimum a second a real, live turtle appears in the series. Also series with turtles visible in one longer or a few smaller scenes, but without much significance for the plot.

– A real live turtle or turtles appears in the series and plays important role, but not crucial. It may be a longer fragment focused on them, or several smaller but important appearances.
– There is a real live turtle or turtles in the series and they are the axis a story, an element that would make the entire series meaningless if removed.

Color number 4 – TMNT series, also series just referring to TMNT!
– Series in which ninja turtles are only mentioned verbally or appear in the form of a toy, drawing, costume, etc. or TMNT-related music is used.
– Series in which Ninja Turtles (“In person”, not in form of someone cosplaying them) appear on the screen in some form, also in the form of “someone on the screen is watching a movie/series with them and you can see them on your screen” and derivatives.
– Ninja turtles appear in the series and they play an important role, but not a key one. It may be a longer fragment focused on them, or several smaller but distinctive appearances.
– Series in which Ninja turtles constitute the main plot line and removal of them would make the whole series meaningless.

Color number 5 – Just a musical reference (hereinafter, for the sake of simplicity, referred to as “turtle music”) – at the moment these are mainly The Turtles songs used in the series. (Any use of music from TMNT counts as a reference to TMNT, not musical!)
– A track used in the soundtrack appears.
– A song appears, but it is woven into the plot of the film, eg the characters sing it.
– Turtle music is an important part of the movie.
– The movie is all about turtle music.
