001 – The mascot of the Toronto stadium called SkyDome (now it’s called Rogers Center) was/is the Domer turtle, but it has not been “used” since the mid-nineties. According to the designer of the symbol, the “contracting authority” chose the turtle because his shell resembled the dome of the stadium.
