Why in Database: We found turtle elements in three episodes of the described series – all only in the form of mentions in the dialogues.

S01E16 – Shuttlepod One – During one of the conversations, one of the characters mentions a cartoon he once watched. It showed two snails sitting on the back of a turtle, one of which said to the other, “Hold on, Fred. Here we go.”

– I saw a great cartoon once. There were these two snails sitting on the back of a big old turtle. One snail turns to the other and says, “Hold on, Fred. Here we go.”

S01E25 – Two Days and Two Nights – The dialogue mentions a Sea Turtle from Risan, who bit one of the characters – action of this episode happens mostly on mentioned planet.
S03E18 – Azati Prime – This episode features the reptilian race Xindi with which the protagonist has a long conversation. He tells about the reptiles of Earth, how they once dominated the planet, and mentions turtles and the Turtle Soup served at his favorite restaurant in San Francisco.

– I’ll bet you didn’t know this but at one time, most of my world was ruled by reptiles.
– I wasn’t aware of that.
– A comet hit around 65 million years ago caused a mass extinction. Most of the reptiles died out. Mammals became the dominant species.
– How unfortunate.
– Still, the reptiles might have come out on top if it hadn’t been for a slight disadvantage.
– And what was that?
– They had brains the size of a walnut. That’s very small. Apparently, it’s a constant in the universe.
– Earth vessels. How many?
– The reptiles didn’t all die out. Some evolved into snakes, alligators, turtles. As a matter of fact, one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco makes the most wonderful turtle soup. You should try it sometime if you’re ever in the area.
– You want me to kill you?
– I’m just making conversation. Relaying a few interesting facts about the world you’re trying to destroy.
