Over the Hedge

Over the Hedge is a series of comic strips by Michael Fry (scripts) and T. Lewis (drawings). It’s been published regularly since June 1995, all stripes can be seen at gocomics.com. Based on the comic, there was also created movie (loosely approaching the original), the description of which we have the database.

The comic focuses on the lives of three animals, RJ is a raccoon, Verne is a turtle and Hammy is a squirrel. Each of the characters, of course, has their own characteristics, Verne is (as is often the case with turtles) wise and reasonable, RJ is lazy and in love with unhealthy food, and Hammy is good-naturedly naive and with a good heart.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Verne shows up on most stripes. In the file names you can check the publication dates, in the year-month-day format:
