Why in Database: In this ten-episode series, turtles (especially black ones) are a frequent recurring element, appearing in six/seven (depending on how you count it in episode 9, detailes described below) episodes:
Episode 01 – The Old Grist Mill – A brief appearance.
Episode 03 – Schooltown Follies – Briefly, one turtle climbs onto a log, is grabbed and thrown.
Episode 04 – Songs of the Dark Lantern – Brief appearance, the turtle just passing by, not very good visible.
Episode 07 – The Ringing of the Bell – The most turtle episode, there is a whole basket of turtles in which the heroes are hiding.
Episode 08 – Babes in the Woods – The sequence in the city in the clouds shows two turtles, one typical for the show, black (albeit walking on two legs) and one pink, with wings.
Episode 09 – Into the Unknown – On the wall in the main character’s room you can see a poster with image of a turtle.
Episode 10 – The Unknown – The turtle only in a short scene at the end.
