Why in Database: Jimmy Olsen is a friend of Superman working in the same place as Clark Kent, appearing in a lot of comics with him (he even has a series of his own name!). The character itself appears in maaany comics, not even hundreds, but thousands, we will not, of course, talk about all of them. We will only focus on the stories where Jimmy “is the turtle”.
Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen #053 (reprinted in #104) : Jimmy finds some machine on the beach that shoots magnifying rays, then accidentally turtle grows, Jimmy too, assuming part of the turtle character. And it turns out that he’s in that form controlled by some evil person.
