Why in Database: Turtles play a significant role in three episodes of Dexter’s Laboratory.

The first appearance is in an episode that debuted as the show’s pilot, later got Title Changes and released as part c of episode four (each episode of this series consists of several smaller, independent stories with their own titles). Dexter and Deedee fight for a pilot transforming into various animals, at the end Dexter is in the form of a turtle and, stereotypically, he slowly heads towards the pilot (while his sister is a snail, also a slow animal).
Another appearance takes place in part c of the second episode of the second series – Mock 5. It appears in several scenes as a kind of obstacle during race of self-built cars.
The most turtle episode is part of the sixteenth episode of the second season – Techno Turtle. The entire episode (segment) is focused on one turtle, other turtles are also shown at the beginning and end. After the accident, this turtle is tweaked by Dexter, which significantly increases his possibilities.
