Why in Database: Documentary film about the production of films about the Black Lagoon Monster: Creature from the Black Lagoon , Revenge of the Creature (which we have described in our base ) and The Creature Walks Among Us.
We have this movie in our database because there is a mention about turtles. During the filming of the second movie, the one we described in the base because of the presence of sea turtles, they were disturbing action, by trying to eat the title monster costume. A scenes with turtles from the mentioned movie are also shown.
I was sitting on the anchor and waiting, in between scenes, just breathing on the air hose, and I felt something tugging at my foot. And I looked down and it was a turtle, a big sea turtle. He took a bite out of the heel of the creature’s foot and just took a bite and took off with it. Everybody jumped in the water, chasing the turtle to get the heel back. They had to dry it with blowers and glue the heel back on the foot cos it was the last pair. So we had to watch out for the turtles. They thought I was food, I guess.
