B.C. is a series of comic strips created since 1958. The author and creator was Johnny Hart (1958–2007) and since 2007 it is created by Mason Mastroianni.
The regulars in the cast, to whom the stripes are often devoted are John the Turtle and Dookey Bird, close friends. In terms of the degree of turtle-content, this places the comic somewhere between those where the turtle is the main character and those where a random turtle appears every now and then.
